Hi! I'm so happy to see you here. My name's Melody. I started my photography business in 2016, and since then I've photographed hundreds of shoots, events, and weddings. In college I studied photography and television production, and have been lucky enough to work on projects for HGTV, Detroit Medical Center, and The Weather Channel.

What it's like to be photographed by me
Your photographer will be by your side for your entire wedding day, so I do my best to be your cheerleader and to make you look and feel amazing! I'll be a positive, supportive presence at your side, making sure that every hair is in place, and that every pose is natural and flattering. I know when to fade into the background to unobtrusively capture candid moments, and when to step up to guide and direct.
If you think you'd appreciate clear direction, positive energy, and a photographer who knows what time it is and where we need to be next, I might be the photographer for you!
who I am
When I'm not snapping photos or editing pictures, I love to write, paint, hike, and travel. I'm a huge nerd, and my perfect day includes a cozy video game and a sci-fi or fantasy book. I'm LGBTQ+ inclusive, body positive, and believe in the values of diversity and representation. My favorite place to be is tucked into the back corner of a warm, bustling coffee shop while snow falls outside.
