About Me

Hi! I'm so happy to see you here. My name's Melody. I was born and raised in Tennessee, but I migrated north about seven years ago. My journey to photography began in film school, where I studied film production. I've since taken the skills I learned in cinematography, editing, and directing and applied them to photography!

When I'm not snapping photos, editing pictures, or updating my website, I love to write, paint, hike, and travel. I prefer my coffee with cream and rainy days.

photography

My #1 priority is that you feel comfortable and confident. I want you to love your photos and your photoshoot! I'll guide you through flattering poses, show you the pictures as I'm taking them, and listen to your feedback so that you can leave the session feeling confident.

Locations

I offer photoshoots all over Metro Detroit, from Ann Arbor to St Clair Shores! I'm available to shoot on location just about anywhere - outdoors, at your home, or even at your office!
